Hello! My name is Esteban Díaz Baena and I am what today they call an audiovisual content creator!

I've been hooked on a camera since I was 9 years old, and that's because since I was a child I already had my passion, since then I already messed up my family or my friends... and well I still do it from time to time.

I live in Córdoba, Spain, where until a few years ago the audiovisual that existed here was to record weddings, baptisms and communions... things that I have also done 😅.

Although living here hasn't stopped me from pursuing my passion. I studied screenwriting and directing at the Chico Sánchez film school and trained in a self-taught way while studying other higher degrees such as illustration, sculpture and photography.

 

I have taken courses such as: 2d animation with Toon Boom, post-production for cinema with Nuke or self-production and self-distribution for cinema.

 

Since then I have made and participated in dozens of short films, I made my own web series for YouTube, I have recorded with Netflix, I have written and directed a feature film that is available on Amazon Prime Video and I even came out of figuration in a Dutch film.

I am an entrepreneur, in 2019 together with my colleagues, we created an audiovisual production company called "Salmorejo Producciones", (let it be noted that we shoot for our land), in which I performed various functions such as director, screenwriter or editor of the dozens of projects audiovisual works that we made, such as 'Pares', the short film that won first prize at the fifth edition of the Rueda Cádiz festival, with which we also won the award for best cinematography, or 'Por Las Malas', a Blake video clip that already has more one million views on YouTube.

 

I am already working on the pre-production of my second film and although I still have a long way to go and many blows to receive, I want to show that if you have a goal you have to go for it, no matter what it costs or how many stones there are on the road, if you like something... go for it.
